Cassandra ["Casey"] Avenriep is a Jesus-loving, sneaker-wearing, stay-at-home Mom, published author, and guest educator within NISD. She earned a BA in Communication, MA in Curriculum & Instruction, and is currently pursuing licensure in the State of Texas.
In 2008, she traded her expertise in boardroom and courtroom communication strategies for the opportunity to train in a traditional classroom. She is an entertaining and engaging communicator, with an unconventional flair and creative energy which ubiquitously appeals to audiences. In addition to her penchant for writing, speaking, and teaching, “Ms. A” dabbles in watercolor painting, quilting, gardening, and campfire cooking.
She lives in Fort Worth, with her husband Brett, and their two precious and highly-precocious children, Grayson (11) and Olivia (8).
